Department Profile
The Assamese (MIL) as a subject was introbuced on 2000-2001 in the T D C level. In this starting period Professor Gias Uddin and Professor Karabi Hazarika services the same. And Professor Makram Hussain joined the service on July 01 August and he have taken the charge of HOD. Professor Kokil Deka also joined the service on 1 october, 2009. At the same time Professor Rinku Boro joined 01 november,2009 and Professor Nilima Hazarika joined her service 02 August 2010. The ASL (Assamese Second Language) as a subject also started in 2000-2001 . The Major in Assamese was started from 2013.
